About Lip Balms for Dry Skin

A lip balm is a wax-like substance, which provides a light, creamy ointment that's applied in moderation on the lips. It's formulated with moisturizing ingredients, such as beeswax, carnauba, and petrolatum to hydrate thirsty, dry lips. Some of the best products on the market also contain natural essential oils, like castor oil, shea butter, or coconut oil.  Unless you have extra dry skin, you'll likely need to apply lip balm once a day to lock in the moisture. They're available at a wide range of online stores as well as your local supermarkets and drugstores.

Clear vs. Tinted Lip Balms
Most of the lip balms that you'll find in your local stores are clear, similar to petroleum jelly. Rather than applying a small amount of petroleum jelly to your lips (which is perfectly fine), you can opt for a product that's formulated with a variety of ingredients to ensure that your lips stay moisturized throughout the day. In addition to clear lip balms, the tinted ones are very popular products among women. They add a mild color to your lips while also soothing your dry skin. You can certainly choose to wear a lip balm with a hint of color, which offers a more natural look to your skin when comparing it to more vibrant lipstick shades.

Vegan Cruelty-Free Lip Balms
In addition to soothing dry lips, vegan, cruelty-free lip balms provide an extra layer of protection against sun damage. They are also created with ingredients that are non-toxic, free of harsh chemicals that may cause skin irritation. I've found that vegan lip balms provide extra conditioning to the lips that last longer than the more traditional products. When applied in small amounts, they also deliver a shiny texture that looks great with everyday makeup.

Should You Color Your Eyebrows

Photo by Jonas Svidras on Unsplash This is a question that has been debated for a long time by those who regularly color their hair. There are benefits to enhancing your eyebrows with a color that corresponds with your hair. However, many believe that dyeing your eyebrows will not necessarily result in a better appearance for your face. It often depends on how long you plan to keep the hair color and whether it's bright enough to require a slight tint to your eyebrows. Of course, if you're wearing extensions or temporary color, you wouldn't need to worry about changing the shade of your eyebrows. If you're like most people who've considered coloring their eyebrows, you've wondered whether it would create a look that's too flashy or over-the-top. In my opinion, if your hair is medium to light brown, you'll look fine with maintaining your natural eyebrow color. And of course, if your hair is darker, it's not necessary to even touch your eyebro
